Craftsmanship
Materials, joinery, and finishing
We start with kiln-dried solid hardwoods — Sheesham, Mango, Teak, and Acacia — selected for grain character and structural integrity. Joints are mortise-and-tenon or dovetailed; we avoid staples and particle board entirely.
Surfaces receive multiple rounds of hand-sanding before a multi-coat lacquer or natural oil finish. Upholstered pieces use high-resilience foam wrapped in polyester fibre and full-grain or top-grain leather panels stitched with reinforced seams.
The result is furniture that develops a patina over time — growing more beautiful with use rather than wearing out.
